PROJECT OVERVIEW

As a leading Bristol property development and management company who strive to create high-class accommodation with a love for their city. Within the rental price to the clients, they include the cost of the electricity. Strawberry Property was looking to reduce the electricity costs and enhance their corporate social responsibility credentials.

 

CONSULTANCY

There are a wide variety of property types in the HMO market due to age and the building materials used in construction, and the level of upgrading which has been carried out over the years. Every property varies when it comes to energy usage down to the individual accommodation units. Immersa analysed each separate utility bill to provide the solution.

 

SOLUTION

Immersa specified 3/5kW roof-mounted solar for each property and the installation of monitoring equipment to understand the usage profile of each property, and to analyse the potential for battery storage if there was a power excess.
