Renewables Electrician

Immersa is a leading UK-based renewable energy consultancy, helping UK businesses and homeowners to become sustainable and energy independent. Through an innovative approach to energy analysis, unique modelling and the implementation of renewable solutions and battery energy storage systems, the company is a trusted partner to a wide range of customers.

We are currently expanding and are looking for a Qualified Electrician to join our Domestic & Commercial Solar & Battery division based within Gloucestershire.

You will work with our existing engineers on domestic and commercial solar, as well as battery storage and EV charging points.

The role will include:

  • Travelling to homes and businesses throughout the UK to work as part of our solar PV installation team
  • Installing solar PV inverters and associated components
  • Working on a detailed plan from the pre-installation survey
  • Installing battery storage and EV charge points
  • Testing and Inspection
  • Travelling predominantly throughout Gloucestershire & the South West but may be in any part of the country
  • A willingness to stay away from home is required, with expenses paid.
  • Occasional optional overtime

Role Requirements:

  • Trained and Qualified in BS 7671 18th Edition
  • NVQ Level 2 and 3 In Electrical Installations
  • ECS Gold Card for Electrical Installations
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred)
  • Minimum two years experience post qualification (preferred)
  • Full UK clean driving license
  • A willingness to learn and a positive attitude
  • An interest in Renewables is desirable
  • Experience in PV Installations is advantageous
